• www.mlkday.gov - The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service web site has many ways you can start or join into service projects in your community.
• www.thekingcenter.org - The King Center was established by Coretta Scott King to help continue King's vision of "The Beloved Community" through public service and volunteerism. Learn about King's vision for society and how that can be accomplished through public service.

• American Rhetoric (www.americanrhetoric.com) has video of King's "I Have a Dream" speech online (www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/mlkihaveadream.htm), along with the text of the original speech to download and print.
• The Internet Archive (www.archive.org) has several films from the Civil Right Era. They are fascinating to watch as examples of how the Civil Rights Movement was being covered in the news at the time when the events were taking place.
• The Open Mind (1957) (www.archive.org/details/openmind_ep727) is an episode of a talk show which Martin Luther King, Jr. appeared on as a guest.
• Integration Report (1960) (www.archive.org/details/Integrat1960) is a film that showed the world the state of the Civil Rights Movement at that time in history.
